What Google Ads means here

Search ads and Local Services Ads on the terms that produce work today, while the organic layers below are still compounding. Rented, immediate, and measured on the calls and form fills it produces.
Included / Scope
What you actually get.
- Local Services Ads (the Google Guaranteed badge) — set up, verified and managed
- Search campaigns built on how your trade actually gets searched for, not a keyword tool export

- Aggressive negative keyword work, reviewed weekly — this is where most budgets leak
- Conversion tracking that genuinely fires, verified end to end rather than assumed
- Call tracking with recordings, so you can hear what the budget is buying
- Landing pages that match the ad, instead of dropping everyone on the home page
- Geographic and radius targeting matched to where you will actually drive
- Budget pacing around your season, not spread flat across the year

Web DesignFAQ / Answers
Google Ads — questions
Should I run ads or do SEO?
Both, in that order of urgency. Ads produce calls in days but stop the moment you stop paying. SEO takes months and then keeps producing. Running ads while the organic work matures is how you avoid a quiet six months, and most clients reduce ad spend once the map pack and city pages are carrying their weight.
What are Local Services Ads and do I need them?
Local Services Ads sit above the normal search ads and carry the Google Guaranteed badge. They are billed per lead rather than per click, and for most home service trades they outperform standard search ads. They need license and insurance verification, which we handle as part of the setup.
Why do you say most ad budgets leak?
Because the account is usually matching searches nobody intended to pay for — "how to fix" queries, job seekers, wholesale suppliers, other contractors researching prices. Negative keyword lists are tedious and unglamorous, so they get built once at launch and never touched. Reviewing them weekly is the single highest-return habit in a paid account.
Do you use Google’s AI bidding?
Yes, deliberately. Smart Bidding and broad match are how Google Ads works now, and they work well when the account gives the machine learning enough clean conversion data in one place. Splitting the budget across a campaign per city with phrase and exact match starves it. We consolidate, feed it verified conversions, and do the negative keyword work the automation cannot do for you.
Isn’t buying leads exactly what you say not to do?
It is a fair question, and the distinction matters. A lead broker sells the same homeowner to several contractors and owns the relationship. Google Ads buys a click that lands on your site and produces a call to your line or a form in your inbox, and every one is logged with the search that produced it. You are renting attention, not buying a shared name — and it sits alongside the organic layers rather than replacing them.
How do you know the tracking is right?
We verify it rather than trust the dashboard. A very common failure is that the tag appears to fire while the conversion request is actually blocked by the site’s own security policy, which shows up in Google Ads as "Misconfigured" and silently ruins optimization. We confirm the conversion request returns a success before we call it live.
