FREE AI ANSWER CHECK / ONE A MONTH PER BUSINESS

Ask Google’s AI who it recommends. See if it says you.

When someone asks an AI engine for the best home service pros in their town, it names two or three businesses and moves on. This asks Google’s AI Mode that question about your trade and your city right now, reads the answer for your name, and checks the map at your own address while it is at it. About twenty seconds, no sign-up, and the result is yours whether you hire us or not.

THE FULL REPORT ASKS
  • Google AI Overviews
  • Google AI Mode
  • ChatGPT
  • Gemini
  • Perplexity
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • Claude

The check / Three live lookups · One a month per business

Your business, your city, what you do.

Type the name the way it appears on Google, the city you work from, and what you do the way a customer would say it (“roofing contractor”, “plumber”, “house painter”). Free, no sign-up. The result is on this page in under a minute.

Takes about twenty seconds. It asks Google’s AI Mode live — not a cached answer — then checks Google Maps at your address. One check a month per business.

The full report / Five engines, six questions each

One answer is a sample. The report is the picture.

The full AI visibility report asks AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI Mode six questions each, reads every answer for your name, your website and the competitors named, and lists the sites every engine leaned on — the to-do list — beside a 25-point map of where you show up across your service area, your reviews against the three businesses above you, and who is buying the clicks on your searches. We prepare it by hand and send it as a PDF, free: run the check, leave your email under the result with the box ticked, or ask here.

What moves an AI answer

The engines can only recommend what they can find.

A complete profile with recent reviews

Every engine reads Google’s listing first: categories, hours, photos, the review count and how recent the last one is. A profile nobody has touched since it was claimed reads as a business that may have closed.

Listings on the sites the answer cites

The answer names its sources. Yelp, the BBB, Angi, Thumbtack, the local paper — whichever it drew on for your trade is where being listed, with reviews, gets you into the next answer.

Pages that say it plainly

What you do, for whom, where, since when — in one paragraph an engine can quote, with the facts marked up so a machine reads them as facts, and an llms.txt so the crawlers know what the site is for.

The same name and address everywhere

Three versions of the business name, two phone numbers and an old address across the web, and the engine trusts none of them. One version, repeated exactly, is the quiet work that moves the answer.

FAQ / Answers

Common questions about the check

What does the AI answer check actually do?

It asks Google’s AI Mode the question a customer asks — "best roofing contractor in Franklin, Tennessee" — the moment you press the button, reads the answer for your business name, lists who was named instead and which websites the answer drew on, then checks Google Maps for the same service at your own address and reads your Business Profile. Three live lookups, about twenty seconds, and nothing to sign up for: all it asks is the business, the city and what you do.

Why does it only ask Google’s AI, and only once?

Because one live answer is what we can give away for free. AI answers change from run to run, from town to town and from engine to engine, so a single answer is a sample, not a verdict. The full report asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Mode six questions each, reads every answer for your name, your website and the competitors named, and shows the sources every engine leaned on — that is the document we prepare by hand, free, when you leave your email under the check and tick the box.

It did not name me. Is that bad?

It is normal, and it is the point of the check. Most local businesses are not named yet because the engines can only recommend what they can find: a complete Business Profile with recent reviews, listings on the sites the answer drew on, and pages on your own site that say plainly what you do and where. Those are fixable, and the answer tells you where to start.

It named me. Am I done?

You are ahead, and it is worth keeping. The engines re-read the web constantly; the businesses that stay named keep the reviews coming, keep the same name and address everywhere, and keep their pages current. The full report shows whether the other four engines agree.

What does the map position mean?

Google decides the map pack — the three businesses with the map — by where the searcher is standing, so we check from your own address. Being in the top three there is the floor; the full report checks 25 points across your service area, because the customer six miles away sees a different map.
